The oceanic climate of the region is kind and moderate, with temperatures generally a few degrees warmer than the Southern United Kingdom and avoiding harsh extremes. With rainfall levels higher than the parched interior and South of Spain the landscape is lush (hence the moniker Green!) and vibrant.
